Hi all, so sorry if this has been answered somewhere already.

I have looked in the forums and the guides, but most of the info I find is for K visas...there doesn't seem to be much CR-1 specific.

Anyway, I have my interview in London next week and I wondered if there was a checklist of everything I need to take with me when I go.

I have seen people say they have to hand over their birth certificates etc, but all of my original documents are with the embassy, as we had to send them to the USCIS/NVC...I don't have any original documents at all.

Does anyone have a definitive checklist that I could have to help me get everything together.

Many thanks in advance :)

They ask for the originals just incase something got miss placed or lost, you'll have it.

But if you have copys of the I-130, (AOS), DS-230 you sould also bring those, just incase also.

Other then that

Wedding Pictures

Regular Pictures

Phone Records

Email's

Letters

Plane tickets

hotel reciepts

Anything that will provide proof of your relationship

I have also heard of then requesting lattest Tax records.

Let me know if you need any more help.

Thanks so much for your help. It was the asking of original documents that got me confused, but not anymore, I'll just take everything I have :)

Usually all the documents you previously submitted to the NVC is no longer needed during your interview except if you submitted a photocopy or scanned copy. If you already submitted the original documents and still have the doubts, contact the US embassy where you will be having an interview.

Check the checklist that the NVC sent you along with the appointment letter as well.

Goodluck!!
