Hello everyone!

OK here is my question, on the Vaccination List that is required for K-1 and later for AOS, there is a vaccine called "influenza vaccine"...Today my family doctor came at my place (they were going to everybody's home in the area) and offered to get influenza vaccine...I'm not sure if I should agree to get it or not.. Normally, I'd rather eat fruits and vitamins to stay healthy, BUT I remembered that this vaccine is on the list of required vaccines..So, should I get it now so that I have more vaccines covered (for the future when I apply for AOS) or not, what do you think?? Thank ya'll!!

The flu shot is an age appropriate shot - I think it's only required if you are over 60. I was 22 at the time of my medical and I didn't need to get it. Then again, it wouldn't hurt not to, right?

Thanks for your comments everyone! Actually I see that there are TWO types of influenza vaccines mentioned as required: Influenza

AND Influenza type b (Hib)....Well, I hope BOTH of them are age specific and apply to individuals over the age of 60? Does anyone know?
