anyone gone throu the Waiver after K-3 visa

Hi i wanted to ask you a question. When you went to pick up the waiver packet info at DHL...what was in the envelope? Did you have go back t the embassy topay $131 for visa at banamex, 2 fotos, and DS-156 forms....we went to pick up out approved packet today but instead of telling us to go to the designated bridge...its asking us to go to the embassy window 54 and pay $131, bring 2 pics, and another DS-156 forms...is that normail or did someone make a mistake. we had our original visa interview on 12.02.09, the the waiver 01.03.09, and picked up the DHL today...with those instructions....we also files for the K-3 visa

Hi Henry,

Sorry, I don't think there are many recent Mexico waiver people frequenting VJ right now. You might want to ask your question on www.smf.juarez-mexico.com, as I don't know the answer to your question. However, I did hear about that happening to someone else, but I never found out why. You should just ask why when you get to the embassy. If it's the last thing you need to do before your visa, I probably wouldn't argue about it if I were you.

It's normal. Someone asked this question at www.immigrate2us.net today too. Maybe it was you

There aren't many K3 people on i2us, but all of the K1 folks(that I can remember) who needed waivers had to pay the visa fee again. Based on their experiences, I'd say it's completely normal before issuance of a K visa when filing a waiver.
