Argh! :ranting: Visa FINALLY issued 2/2/10. We have this one temporary residency thing to take care of so there are no issues at the airport. They dragged their feet in November when he tried to take care of it. Now when we need it; and they see a US visa- they upped the price to $2000. :shocked: Ridiculous! I am outraged, but not much I can do. Pay it or he gets deported back to Iraq. I have to get him out of there as quickly as possible. We are praying and praying there are no issues at the airport. Paying that sum of money for this stamp is no guarantee. If he gets it Sunday, I am getting a one-way on Royal Jordanian to Detroit early Monday morning.

Please keep praying- my journey to get him here is not over yet...

Once he is here we'll be eating eggs and cereal and living in a tent, but at least we will be together. :wub:

Girl i know its a lot of money but you dont want him back in iraq like alen is....im praying for you and i hope his entry is smooth...2000 dollars is a small price to pay for the one you love....cerial and eggs will be good with him by your side....god bless you both....bridget
