I think I have just had a total flashback of my entire life. It is 1969. I'm watching CBOT (local Ottawa CBC affiliate) on the black and white Zenith TV with the huge rabbit ears. And these guys are on the screen. Other than my parents and baby sister, they pretty much define my comprehension of what life IS at this moment in time.

:crying:

And now you'll tell me that Mr. Dressup was arrested for molesting little kids.

Hell, no. Does he look like a gecko or a purple dinosaur? :bonk: Ernie Coombs was a great guy, after his wife died he was crushed. A car jumped the curb and ran over her. :crying: I understand exactly what he must have been feeling. The child molester was Alex Laurier.

I remember that. (F)

It was very sad, an emotion that I'm no stranger to, unfortunately. :crying:

Speaking of ketchup...

did anyone have a problem finding decent ketchup in their spouse's home country? Every restaurant we went to had this watered down disgusting version of ketchup. :dead: I went to three different supermarkets and finally found Hunt's which tasted so freakin good compared with that #######. However, there was no Heinz!!!

It's a sad day when you can't get some good ketchup. When we went to Mickey D's I stole some packets and kept them in my pocketbook for when we ate at restaurants because I couldn't deal with the fake watery stuff anymore  How American of me!

When I'm in Canada, I go into Harvey's & McD joints and pocket the vinegar packets, to take back to the US with me.

Every civilized person knows that French fries are best eaten with salt and vinegar. Unfortunately this concept does not exist in the US, hence the need to bring back the good stuff. How Canadian of me!

I also do the same thing when I go to an Arby's... grab a bunch of packets of Arby's sauce. That stuff is gooooood.

Savages! My God what do they put on their pommes frites, ketchup? They don't even have salt and vinegar potato chips in some parts of the US, can you imagine? :o

Well, at least it's not as bad as in Holland where they put mayonnaise on their fries :dead:

They're so high, I don't think they care what they put on their fries.
