After fingerprints on 5th April, checked on my online status and realized its changed to interview and testing with the accompnying statement that my case has been transferred to my local office(SF) and they will send the interview letter as at when it gets to my turn in the queue.Yet to receive that letter though.I filed with Phoenix lockbox anyways. Give yourself some few more days and see what happens. :dance:

Is anybody in Atlanta experiencing the same long wait time for the interview letter after the fingerprints? Did my fingerprints March 5th,.yellow letter April 10th. still waiting for IL. Anybody else in the same shoes?

Yes, I did my fp March 11th in Atlanta and have heard nothing, no letter, no email, no text. Starting to worry, many here have their letter already.

I think February applicants progress is extremely slow.

I am waiting since 3/9/10. No updates on USCIS site, its stuck on initial review.

Contact the USCIS and ask about the status of your application. My online status has no touches either after NOA1 still on 'initial review' but USCIS sent an email that I don't need to take biometrics anymore. I made phone call before they sent the e-mail so I guess you really have to follow-up sometimes instead of just keep on waiting.

Congrats chan51 !

Did you ask for a same day oath or were you offered one ? How early in the morning was your interview ? I heard that generally if you have it in the morning chances are better for a same day oath.

I did not receive any letter other than NOA. What is yellow letter ?

Yellow letter is the document checklist that you will have to bring with you on the day of your citizenship interview. I got mine on 16th April I'm required to bring DL and passport which is not a problem since I got those anyway. Still waiting for the IL though...

The yellow letter I had requested me to bring utility bills and mortgage payment receipts to the interview. i thought that was weird cos I had already included that in my N-400 application package. I now have another job of having to dig for more receipts. Anyways, I can't complain. The journey will be over soon. Well, you are fortunate if you did not have one. :dance:

I did not receive any letter other than NOA. What is yellow letter ?
