I really don't think you should be worried as of yet, most likely it depends on how busy your field office is, I have had friends who's interview letter took close to two months and you can find some cases like that on here as well. There is no point in calling anyone because they would not tell you, and I don't think anyone would really know who to call in this case anyway. Besides, you should know that your fingerprints do not have to clear in order to be scheduled for an interview, in most cases it only clears a few days before and here on VJ you will even find cases where peoples fingerprints were actually rejected by the time the interview came around and they had to redo them after the interview.

Same here, Looking at the timeline of fellow VJers in Dallas,TX I should have received my Interview Letter, I even called FBI and they said they returned my FPrints to USCIS same day they received. I am not sure what else I can do other then wait. I did FP on 3/30.

I did call the FBI and was told they processed my prints within 48hrs of receiving them, then I called the USCIS 800#. They told me that my file is a waiting interview appointment. How long to wait? Is a mystery. So waiting........

if you get the yellow letter, you will get the interview letter soon. My husband got interview letter for May 13, 2010

I appologize for not stating I got the letter sometime in March...it is dated the 17th my F. Prints were scheduled/done on the 23rd of March.

Just an update:

I skipped the biometrics! I received e-mail from CRIS this morning and thank God, I won't have to wonder anymore if I have to do bio or not.

E-mail says:

"Recently you called to inform us that you have not received a biometrics appointment letter. After checking our systems the biometrics taken on 03/28/2009 are still valid and you will not be scheduled again. We are sorry for any misunderstanding and thank you for informing us of this matter.

The current status of your case is that you are in the queue for an Interview Appointment. You should be receiving this appointment notification within the next 60 days. If you need to expedite your case further, you may contact your local District Office."

USCIS helpline lady told me. There are no numbers for FBI namecheck

I got my interview letter yesterday, its scheduled for May 18th. I was issued GC on 5/18/2005 so on my day of interview will I be eligible to get the Oath Letter or same day oath? Interview is falling exactly on 5th year since I got GC.

Also can someone please update my time line.

Is anybody in Atlanta experiencing the same long wait time for the interview letter after the fingerprints? Did my fingerprints March 5th,.yellow letter April 10th. still waiting for IL. Anybody else in the same shoes?
