Hello eveybody, I got a 'Case File Notice/ Interview Document Check List' letter that lists my Drivers License to bring to the interview, but no date for the interview. What am I to expect? Is the Interview Letter on the way? What happened to the fingerprinting notice? I am lost. Thank you for any insight.

Did your LUD or status changed online? When you have done ur last finger printing?

I am actually in your district office (Fairfax, VA) and have received my yellow letter on Monday. When I called customer service and talked to the 2nd-level immigration officer, I was told that getting the yellow letter is an indication that you are in the queue to be scheduled for an interview. Apparently the local district office communicates with the National Benefits Center in Lee's Summit, MO to schedule the interview, and the interview letter comes from MO. The "A" file is then sent to the district office.

She said it typically takes 3-6 weeks from the time you get the yellow letter to the time you receive the interview letter.

So, did you not get a fingerprint notice? Did you recently do your I-751 removal of conditions? When were you last fingerprinted by USCIS?

Hi novahunter -

Your recent fingerprinting is likely the reason you never got an FP notice. I believe that fingerprints are good for either 17 or 18 months. So, yours from a year ago are still okay, and they can use them for your N-400 application.

Congrats on skipping the biometrics

I hope to have same luck like you had coz until now I am still waiting for my biometrics appt. notice. :angry:

I already made a phone call few days ago and was only told to call again 30 days after NOA1. :blink:
