Checking Status Online

I reeeallllyyyy don't want to get my hopes up but when I check my status I get this message:

Current Status:

On July 5, 2006, we received your response to our request for evidence or information. However because preliminary processing was complete, the remaining processing time will be less than the maximum stated in this message. You will receive a written decision on this case. You can use our processing dates to estimate when this case will be done. Follow the the link below for current processing dates.

But then when I go to login I see this:

Welcome Mr. Andre Jemail Morazan

Number of cases in portfolio: 1

To sort cases, click a blue column header below

Select Receipt Number E-mail Last Updated Form # Form Title

WACXXXXXXXX Y 07/28/2006 I129F PETITION FOR FIANCE(E)

To add a case to your portfolio click here.

To remove a case from your portfolio, check the box to the left of the application receipt number and click the "Remove" button.

Should I be happy about this? If any of you read my "lost hope" thread you know that any news to me would be good news.

Well I already knew they had my RFE back since they touched me on July 6 telling me so. The place where it says last updated on July 28, 2006 used to say July 5 to correspond with the RFE touch. Today it changed to July 28, 2006, but I haven't received an email or letter.

When the date changes but not the message, we call that a *touch*. You were touched today. Many 7/5 & 7/6 RFE receipts were touched today so we take it as a good thing!!!
