I am new to this and used this website a lot in my preparation of the I-129F Form. Thank you all so much for the information.

I filed my I-129F about a week ago and yesterday i recieved the form I-797C from Homeland security. Is this the same as the NOA1?

Just curious as i dont see a 797c mentioned anywhere or i dont remember seeing it.

Yep, that's your NOA1!

2/22/2011 Green card in hand!

AOS: 08/08/2009 (mailed I-485, I-765, & I-131) - 10/29/2009 (received GC)
