Greetings everyone,

My fiance and I just wanted some help. We wanted to know if there is a dental exam as part of the medical examination to receive the visa? Will the fiance fail the medical exam if he/she needs dental work done? Thanks a lot everyone.

Never heard of anyone getting a dental exam, so you should be fine.

I'm not sure about the Rio de Janeiro, but in my medical exam for Cairo Consulate I don't recall that my teeth were checked or there was any dental examination done. You should have no worries.. Good luck!

No Dental Exam Required in Brazil..

But, it is much cheaper for your fiancee to do her work there.. I have done some dental work in Brazil with much higher quality and less expensive.. [just a side note]

I second that!

My life is perfect now, I'm here with my love and everything is great! I feel blessed, thank you God for all your plans, they are way better than I could have ever asked for.

And I'll third it. In fact, in the 3 years I've been living here I've actually not gone to the dentist here at all, I just wait for my yearly trip back home to see my own dentist there, plus even my husband went to my dentist there last year and said he hadn't seen such fancy equipment and careful cleaning as compared to the dentists he's been able to afford out here without insurance.
