Just got a text and checked online with USCIS that I130 was approved! Just under two months...not bad.

But I keep reading that ankara embassy is the longest wait--5 months to get an interview after NVC processing.

But just happy things are moving forward. Best of luck to everyone.

Congratulations on getting I-130 approved :dance:

I don't think its 5 months, but it does have more delays for interview dates compared to other embassies. I hope we don't have to wait that long for ours :whistle:

Goodluck though for the rest of the journey :thumbs:

January 5/2010 - Petition Sent

January 12 - NOA1 Hard Copy

March 15 - Email I-130 Approved

NVC Journey:

March 20 - Mail NOA2 HardCopy

March 20 - NVC Case Number assigned

March 23 - Got NVC Case Number and gave emails

March 25 - Got AOS Bill / DS-3032

March 27 - Emailed DS-3032

March 27 - Paid AOS Bill

March 31 - AOS Bill shows PAID

March 31 - DS-3032 sent by email accepted

April 07 - Paid IV Bill

April 09 - IV Bill shows PAID

April 09 - Sent AOS package via USPS

April 12 - AOS package Delivered and signed by N. Visa Center

April 13 - Sent DS-230 package via USPS

June 04 - Wife went for medical and got it done

June 22 - Wife's interview (Missing Bank statement) =(

June 25 - Sent Bank letter to wife

June 29 - Wife got the bank letter and sent it to embassy

July 07 - Wife got visa in hand!! Thank You Bhagvan / inşallah =)

Aug 02 - Wife's POE!!! (Excited) =)

Aug 02 - Picked up my wife at 8:45 pm (Super happy to be with her again) =)

Aug 02/2010 - Lifting of Conditions

I am hoping for the best to all February filers as well. We sent our I-130 on 02/25/10 to the Chicago lockbox. NOA1 Received on March 08, 2010... and Waiting for NOA2.

I think they cant give a date 5 months after NVC processing like an interview i think just two months

by the way congrulations for NOA2....I m reallying thinking that i m the one who really waiting a long period for NOA2 from turkish embasy and i m really worrying now something going wrong in our process bec mostly turkish embassy got their approval in two months :(

-Received NVC case number: 6/9/10/10

-Gave NVC my e-mail address & e-mailed DS3032: 6/10/10

-Received NVC e-mails (DS3032 and AOS Fee)& paid AOS fee: 6/11/10

-AOS Fee shows as PAID & paid IV Bill: 6/15/10

-IV Bill shows as paid: 6/6/10

-Received IV instruction packet: 6/8/10

-Received dox from co-sponsor: 10/14/15/10

-Sent AOS package: 10/18/10

-AOS package received: 10/19/10-J.Desmond

-IV Package mailed out: 11/3/10

my husband sent our I-130 in 01-Feb-2010 and we got a case complete on 24-May-2010. our interview date is 13-July-2010. i have a question, how soon can i have my medical exam? is it ok to have it a month before my interview?
