Hello all, I just got married in South Korea and am getting things ready to start the visa process for my wife. I was wondering if anyone can give me some advice about the I-130. I have a visa to work here for a couple more months and was wondering if it is better to file the I-130 at the embassy here or if it would complicate things when i move back to the states. Any advice would be great.

Thanks

If you qualify to file in S. Korea, by all means do so. Follow the DCF guide. It is quite common to return to the USA during the process, to re-establish domicile, find new work etc.

Be aware it will be the IR1 or CR1 visa though. K3 cannot be filed from abroad and you wouldn't want it anyway if immigration is your actual intent.
