Filing for AOS after I-360 approval.

I got approved last month for VAWA. I did not hire a lawyer (am broke) to file for VAWA and do not plan to hire one for AOS. Still broke.

I however have a few questions to ask:

1. When filling out the AOS (I am applying for AOS because), is it the (a)-Petition giving me immeadiate available visa number or (h) other basis of eligibility? . I am married to a USC.

2. My approval notice says Class: IB1, what does that mean?

3. Medical examination- When I first came to this country, no one asked me about vaccinations. I was exempted big time, even at the school I attended. I don't know why. I have seen a loong list of vaccinations. I have no documentation but know I have done some of those, or have been sick from otehrs before. To help me cut costs, how best to deal with this issue?

Should I take a blood anti-body test or go on to the civil surgeon and have him give me the shots a new? What are the costs?

Lastly, do I have to re-submit all the things I submitted to VAWA, or the application, medical history and photos is good to go?

Your help will be appreciated.

1. Your AOS is based on getting the VAWA approved. You would need to prove your VAWA was approved and provide this evidence. (for H)

2. IB1 =Self-petition spouse of U.S. citizen.

3. If it's been more than a year since your original visa medical - you will need to get a new one done. Costs vary. Contact your local CS.

4. You would submit evidence to show your VAWA was granted for your eligibility for AOS.

My Advice is usually based on "Worst Case Scenario" and what is written in the rules/laws/instructions. That is the way I roll... -Protect your Status - file before your I-94 expires.

WARNING: Phrases in this post may sound meaner than they were intended to be. Read the Adjudicator's Field Manual from USCIS
