Hi There!

I'm asking a question for my cousin.

He is USC and was in the Navy for 7 years. Since he left the Navy he has been living off the GI Bill Education Benefits. He makes around $1700/month and this money is tax free. He didn't file a income tax return for the past 4 years.

He is married to a B1 holder and they are applying for AOS.

What do we do about his I-864 form? He has no Income Tax return. Would a letter explaning this be enough?

Should he just leave question 25 on the I864 blank?

They already have another USC who will be a co-sponsor.

Please advise if you've been on this situation or know what to do.

thanks Kristie!! we have his ticket on hold with american airlines. he will have to do a couple of layovers (on in baharain, and the other in london). so just making sure he will not need anything from them just to stay in their airport. other than that, he will land in the usa on march 2nd. POE Chicago
