11-30-09: GOT GREEN CARD in mail!!!!!!

Citizenship Process;

1/11/2013: Mailed N400 to Dallas Texas

3/11/2013: interview.. Approved

4/4/2013. : Oath! Now a U.S. citizen!

22 months ago today: Mr. Twisted K and Miss Kaushalia rec'd NOA1 for the I129F K-1 visa.

18 months ago today: Kaushalia received the NOA2 (interview scheduled for November 12)

14 months ago today: I129F expired, and was sent back to USCIS.

12 months ago today: USCIS sent 2nd NOA1 to alert Miss Kaushalia that they have rec'd the petition back with a request to review.

8 days short of 8 months ago today: Kaushalia becomes Mrs. Twisted K

5 days short of 7 months ago today: Mrs. Twisted K sends off the I130 for Cr1 visa.

1 month ago today: Mr. Twisted K has his interview, and subsequent AP

TODAY!!!! TODAY!!!!: Mrs. Twisted K received an email from the Embassy that Mr. Twisted K's Visa was printed on February 3, 2010!!!!

Woo Hoo!!!! Congratulations!!!! :dance::dance:

COngratulations on the visa issuance. That is so exciting. We also got the visa issued on Feb 3rd. This such a great way to end the week!!!

2009-10-26 : Medical Exam@4pm

2009-10-28 : Medical Exam results given

2009-11-09 : Interview Date @ 9am

2009-11-09 to 2010-01-21 AP

2010-02-02: Visa Issued

2010-02-06 : Visa in Hand

2010-02-11 : U.S. Entry

U.S. Journey

2010-03-01 : Social Security card received

2010-03-04 : Welcome to the US letter received in the mail

2010-03-11 : Green card received

2010-04-04 : Ahmad got a J-O-B (Alhamdullah!)

2010-05-22 : Ahmad got his DL

thank you everyone!! And yes HALLELUJAH!!! GOD IS SOOOOO GOOD AND FAITHFUL!!!! just like on my signature, pray always, and in the end you will win! A special thanks to all on visa journey, and those who have helped me through the ups, downs, and confusions along the way.

Kiyah and Morocco4ever, if you read this, a huge THANK YOU!!! for your research and insight. i have definitely reaped the benefits of your input.

EnlightenedOne a shout out to you too, you were the one who told me those many months ago to take the bricks we had been hit with, build a fort, and fight!

May everyone who is still waiting for their visas, my prayers are with you. For those who have been denied, just know that it is a temporary delay. If you want to be together, you can fight it out.
