What can I do until I got my NOA2!

Hi guys,

I am a silent member of the forum.But for sure following everyone's step on their journey.Being happy and sad with you guys.

I would like to ask that which forms I should be done until Noa2. I am gonna write below...Are they right? I mean sure form will come from NVC but atleast I can make a sample for my self to do fast when I got the original forms.

* DS-230

* DS-3032

* Medical chek ( How long before I can ?)

* Police clearance.

* Passport

* and pics

I am right?

Don't foget your long-form birth certificate and the I-864. Read through the guide in the link below. Use this time to familiarize yourself with the process at NVC. Once you get to that stage things will move much more quickly so it's best to be prepared.

OP - you can also get together your tax info for the past 3 years. Generally you'll schedule the medical once you have your interview.

Are you the foreign spouse? I think the best thing to do, is to train your USC spouse on how to do all of this NVC paperwork and processing.

Well that may depend on your spouse! I was the "foreign" spouse and I did all of the paperwork. My husband's contribution was his signature.

You meant long-form birth certificate of beneficiary or petitioner? Should we really need petitioner's birth certificate for beneficiary to bring on the interviewing day? (US Passport and naturalization Cert can be substituted?)

I have read this website a lot and been reading about the next steps as well. There is a lot to be done so we are just preparing things ahead of time. As always thank you all for helping

You do not need the petitioner's birth certificate, their passport or naturalization certificate is prove of citizenship. My husband accompanied me to my interview so he had his passport with him; it was required for ID to enter the consulate.

Yup that's right, beneficiary will need the long-form birth certificate (listing the parents) at the NVC stage.

Yeah I will have to look at LingChe for a good amount of time once it goes to NVC. I am already preparing for it and so is my honey.
