is there anyone who has gone to the Ankara Consulate who could tell me if the translation has to be certified by a professional or they just mean it has to have a letter with it certifying the person who translated is fluent in both languages....Im having a hard time figuring out what they really mean by certified translation

Even if he is physically an ocean away, his love surrounds me everyday...

You are not alone tonight

Imagine me there by your side

It's so hard to be here so far away from you

I'm counting the days till

I'm finally done

I'm counting them down, yeah, one by one

It feels like forever till I return to you

But it helps me on those lonely nights

It's that one thing that keeps me alive

Knowing that you wait for me

Ever so patiently

No one else knows the feeling inside

We hang up the phone without saying goodnight

Because it's the sound of your voice that brings me home

It's never been easy to say

But it's easier when I've gone away

Knowing that you wait for me

Ever so patiently

Yeah, you're everything I've ever dreamed of having and

It's everything I need from you just knowing that you wait for me

typically it means that a translation needs to be certified by a professional translator. sometimes the consulate posts a list of professionals who are pre-approved by the embassy as acceptible. perhaps check their website?

Are translations were done by a certified translator. (English/Turkish) -

we had no issues with Ankara accepting them.

If you want - I can get the name of the guy Umit used.

(he basically changed all the turkish documents into english, then signed/stamped them as being true copies).

My Advice is usually based on "Worst Case Scenario" and what is written in the rules/laws/instructions. That is the way I roll... -Protect your Status - file before your I-94 expires.

WARNING: Phrases in this post may sound meaner than they were intended to be. Read the Adjudicator's Field Manual from USCIS

That would be helpful Bobby...I need English/Farsi but maybe the guy you used can do both  ?
