Haaaaaa ...I am a little confused there ! ( I only count one pdf at first ! )

I re-did the entire form after I read your answer, Now I have 2x 3 pages :

1st page : G325a form x2

2nd page: instruction x2

3rd page : additional sheet (job) x2

Does it sounds correct ?

Sometimes, I had to put "none" on the employment part, Am I suppose to specify my occupation ? I assume the answer is no but 2 opinions are better than one.

Ok I promess that is the last time I ask questions about I129F !

Congrats to those who received NOA1...I want one too !!!!!!!

You need two copies of G-325a per person meaning two pages for Petitioner, two pages for beneficiary. Also two copies of the additional sheet you need to include. You should probably clip or attach one passport style photo per person to a blank page behind the G-325a.

You do not need to do anything with the instruction pages other than read them and follow the directions.

The five papes refers to the old days when the G-325a pdf document used to be four identical pages of the same form so you submitted four copies of the form.

*** Important ***

I do not think you should sign one G-3235a page and then copy it. Make two pages of the G-325a and put an Original signature in PEN on each copy.

Ok sorry, I got it now. They totally changed the G-325a requirements. So yes, you will have

- 1 G-325a (plus instructions) for Daph (2 pages)

- 1 G-325a (plus instructions) for your SO (2 pages)

- 1 addendum (if necessary) for your bio (1 page)

- 1 addendum (if necessary) for his bio (1 page)

so yeah what you wrote sounds good. only that apparently now you need all that in duplicate with original signatures (like audy_rob said). it doesn't hurt to print and sign everything a few times just in case you need more duplicates

if you are not employed, just put "Employer: Not employed - Occupation: N/A - From: mm/yyyy (whenever you stopped working) - To: Present Time or mm/yyyy"

Dropped my I-129F packet off yesterday, all 3 lbs of it! $27.01 was the total to ship it, well worth it I think!! I did send extra copies of the G-325, but they didn't all have original signatures on them. I hope that doesn't turn into a problem. Good luck to everyone!!

Can't wait to start seeing the January filers' NOA2s rolling in... lol.

I'm so done with the grey, wet weather and my crappy job. So ready to snuggle up with my fiance again, but reckon that's mainly because I know that we've got to get through our longest time apart. Longest so far is 19 weeks. We're looking at roughly 30 weeks this time, but at least it'll be a lifetime together after this hurdle is over. And I'm taking the approach that it'll give me 25 weeks from now (ok, 24 once I officially get started! lol) to lose the weight I want to to look fabulous in my wedding dress :)

All a sudden, doesn't sound so long :o

Ok sorry, I got it now. They totally changed the G-325a requirements. So yes, you will have

- 1 G-325a (plus instructions) for Daph (2 pages)

- 1 G-325a (plus instructions) for your SO (2 pages)

Okay, so I just realized that not only am I maybe on the wrong thread (we filed Vermont, not California)....

but reading this I am thinking maybe we made a mistake in our I-129F filing.

We DID put 1 copy of each of the G-325A forms.

1 for Petitioner (USC)

1 for beneficiary

But we did NOT include a copy of the instructions. We just figured they knew how to fill out their OWN form so why should we include the instructions? We never saw anything that said to send a copy of the G-325A instructions along with the form itself.

Are we going to receive a RFE because there were not instructions for that form included in the packet? I swear we looked over that packet at least a DOZEN times. Forget triple checking it, we double checked every single line at least 10-12 times.

But somehow we did not see anything that said to include INSTRUCTIONS for the G-325A along with the actual G-325A form. Photos, YES, for sure we did put those in, attached to a separate sheet of paper and inside little clear plastic envelopes.

Just not the instructions for that form.

So are we going to need to supply a RFE for those missing instructions?

And am I in the wrong section, as we are indeed Feb 2010 filers but at the Vermont center, not California.

Thanks for any help.

We did the same thing....and I was just worried about it too!

But we did NOT include a copy of the instructions. We just figured they knew how to fill out their OWN form so why should we include the instructions? We never saw anything that said to send a copy of the G-325A instructions along with the form itself.

Yup I figure the same thing...

I HIGHLY doubt an RFE especially after reading over other stuff on VJ.

http://www.visajourney.com/forums/index.php?showtopic=225340

There are multiple entries on VJ about this because of confusion as the G325 used to be 4 pages on pdf. They recently changed it to 1 page apparently.

So yeah..Im in the same boat as you:

1 copy of G325a one for each myself the beneficiary and one for my fiance the petitioner

Passport photo of each of us

& also "supplement to the G325" as we couldnt fit in the adresses for the employment boxes on the forms. They make the spaces so small!

Hope this helps! Probably won't stop myself or you from still worrying a little about it  but chances are we'll be just fine

If in doubt check this out:

http://www.visajourney.com/forums/index.php?showtopic=225340

And under the Search bar in VJ type in G325 number of copies you will see others who have put in their two cents on this debate...

You are totally right. It doesn't say that you would have to submit the instructions but it is part of the form (5 or 2 pages respectively are indicated). We thought we'd better safe and just include them. I don't think this is going to get you an RFE! Don't worry.

As to the number of copies - I was told by a previous poster that they require two copies. When we filed, they even needed four, so I really don't know exactly.

Don't worry. The USCIS is strict but not that mean! ;) Good luck

I filed on the second of feb, got our NOA 1 at my parents house today, I think it took so long because I am still stationed in South Korea and had to send the package from the Base here to California, but hopefully things will move quickly now.

I really really hope we get our NOA 2 sometime in May because I have to leave the country back to the US in that month to Elmendorf AFB. Really don’t want to leave her with everything to do by herself, would like to at least get a interview date scheduled at least before I have to go.

On a side note, are there any cell phone plans with really good international rates? I’m going to be on the road for about 2 weeks driving to Alaska, and then probably won’t be able to speak to her for a couple of weeks after that to find a house and get internet hooked up for Skype. Not being able to talk to her for that long would drive me crazy I think

On your timeline, Add/Edit, there is a place for NOA1. If you could update that, it helps make a more accurate set of tables and listings for all here.

Thanks and good luck with your visa journey.

Will do and thanks :)

Oh and I didn’t include the instructions either, figured if they didn’t want the I-129F instructions they wouldn’t want the G-325A ones either.

As for the 2 copies of the G-325A I did see people say 2 copies and some said 4 copies, so I just decided to follow the instructions on the USCIS website that says

"Submit a completed and signed Form G-325A (Biographic Information) for you and a completed and signed Form G-325A for your fiancé(e). Except for name and signature, you do not have to repeat on the Biographic Information from the information given on your Form I-129F."
