Oh, alright. You make sure Ms SunDrop updates the list Congratulations.

On an unrelated note, I emailed the Bangkok Embassy about 7:00 pm my time last night asking if Audy's I-129F petition has arrived at the Embassy. I got an email back about 35 minutes later stating that they had her case papers. We can send in Packet 3 and will get an appointment in 2-6 weeks. I am not finished with Packet 3 though.

Done :)

Please could I ask everyone if you're updating the thread with P3 received, interview dates etc, that you post giving the number of days from NOA1 to NOA2/ NOA to P3 rec'd/ P3 sent to interview. There are quite a lot of us and it helps me a lot if you can do this for me, so I can track the non-posters too, for stats :) Many thanks!

Congratulations, sharaincali! :D

Congrats to us both. Now we wait to see how dreadfully long it takes for the NVC to get everything and send them out. I've seen it's been taking a while, but lets hope we are passed that now. Ryan needs his interview within 90 days. And so the countdown begins.

Rob,

Have you completed the I-134. I read on the instructions that we have to provide a letter from the bank stating the time the account was opened, deposits for the current year, and current balance. We also have to complete a letter for the employer, and most recent tax return. I am working on these now.

My Fiancee completed her police certificate and will get the medical exam next month. How are you doing on these now? Do you know of any unique requirments for Bangkok Embassy?

Rob,

My Fiancee completed her police certificate and will get the medical exam next month. How are you doing on these now? Do you know of any unique requirments for Bangkok Embassy?

Hi Richard, well my fiancee has not received Packet 3 from Bangkok Embassy yet. By we have filled out almost all the papers. I finished I-134. I cannot get a letter from my bank. They don't do that. I do not think it is that important, but I am adding copies of bank statements for six months. My income is well above the 125% poverty line. I am not worried. I have three years of Tax forms 1040, Schedules A, D and sometimes I needed B. I also have the W-2's and 1099-DIV or INT. I have a letter from my employer and I copied six months of pay stubs.

Do you know about the SAWASDEE 3 thread in the forum one level up, K-1 Visa Process and Procedures. I post Thailand specific questions there. I think you should also. I will ask what most people did about financial records.

My fiancee is applying for her Police Certificate Friday April 23 in Thailand time. The problem is the Red Shirts have been in that area of Bangkok where Siam Paragon is. I am worried about her safety. She hasn't scheduled her medical yet. She needs to stay in Thailand until November 2010 because of work obligations. So we are in hurry up and wait mode. I will send her my docs for packet 3 next week (I hope). She will send Packet 3 to the Embassy in June I think.

The EMbassy said the appointment is scheduled for 2 - 6 weeks after they receive Packet 3.

So, there's a big ol' tidy up of the list. A couple new members, a couple more greyed for inactivity, several discovered interview dates and a wad of P3s received.

I'm exhausted this week. STILL haven't booked Ry's flight, mainly because I've been given a real run around by different airlines about taking our £*%&"!$ cat. We had hoped to fly with her as hand luggage, which apparently many people have done before from the UK, but now it seems not one single airline allows it anymore. Mind you, we could fly out of Paris and there'd be no issue... go figure!

All airlines except continental have temperature embargos in place from May to September, and with Tucson being as hot as it is, we have to fly with continental. And to Phoenix, not Tucson, which is another 2 hour drive. And we'll have to have a 6 HOUR stop over in Houston, making door to door travel a total of 26-28 hours. With a cat and a 10 year old.

I'm trying to decide whether to:

a) plan for us all to go over on the same transatlantic flight and send him and the kid on to Tucson from there on an earlier flight, and I'll go to Phoenix with the cat. His mom could drive up to Phoenix to collect me and moggy and his Dad could pick him and the kid up in Tucson.

b) all fly to phoenix and try and flight a pet-friendly hotel overnight, because the kid literally started crying at the thought of another approx. 2 hours waiting for cat from cargo and 2 hours driving to Tucson after all that flying.

c) lie to the kid and forever live with the guilt of her devastation that the cat isn't allowed to fly long haul coz she's only got 1 kidney. lol.

d)reassure all that c) isn't actually a viable option. The cat has way too much personality and is too much a part of the family to do that.

And I can't book Ry's flights until some kind of decision has been reached about Tucson or Phoenix for him, because I really don't want to add another $250 + change in airfare by having to amend his ticket.

Oh yeah, and for the luxury of this hell hole? The princely sum of £609 for the cat alone. That's about $900. No in-flight entertainment, reclining seats, meals or beverages included!

Everybody goes together! Take valium with you. There will be pet-friendly hotels.
