Cross Fingers, but looks like CSC hasn't slowed down this week! Congrats to all the Feb Filers, I am really happy for you. Hopefully CSC can finish up with your petitions this week and begin on March. Can anyone here tell me when in March the Feb Filers starting recieving NOA2s. Want to try to figure out what percentage of Jan petitions were approved before they starting looking at Feb. This wait is killing me day 43 since NOA1.

CSC is definitely processing the end of February, so when you get the approval now depends on the randomness of who is pulling the file boxes when, and how fast they are going through them. (Please pull my file box!)

On Igor's list where you see the drop box (Unapproved Petitions), click on it and change to "All Petitions" then scroll down to February filers...

Glad to hear CSC is keeping pace. For those waiting, (as it has been said many times) patience.

As for us, May had Day 1 of medical yesterday with Day 2 today.

Well, tomorrow will be the first day that my VJ timeline states as a possibility of NOA2 approval - going to be keeping my fingers crossed. I feel like I'm in an ice age here - 50 days has moved by with the speed of glaciers.

@Lina, hi I haven't seen you in here for awhile. I was worried you have given up. Good news is there were six approvals on April 12, yesterday. I hope it picks up for you and all the February filers trying to finish up.

At May's medical examine yesterday the Dr asked to see her divorce document from Japan. She brought it with her today.

Can you imagine any scenerio in which the Dr. would need to be involved in that? I can't. I know the Philippines does not have divorce but COME ON! The doctor should stick to MEDICAL and leave the LEGAL to the bureaucrats.

Ok, Just tried to call that NVC number and I just get a busy tone. What is up with that? Is there another number I can call or is there any other way I can find out if the NVC has received my app???

Just called DoS and was told Packet 3 was sent this morning!! This is what we've been waiting for! Go go go!!

To the NVC busy signal question (Chavonia), I only ever got busy signals and just said forget it. I ended up receiving the confirmation letter from them within a very short time and then just moved on to harassing the DoS number to find out when it got to the embassy. DoS has been far more accessible so if you can stand it I'd just skip that particular NVC phase of freaking out.

Adam&May, that's rather weird. First time I hear of that in the forum... Did the doctor mention at all why the extra documentation was necessary? Wish there was a way of finding out, especially if it's not common protocol.

Keep calling that number eventhough you get a busy tone! Dont give up. I, myself, called them twice since last week for almost everyday since NVC got it last Mon 4/12. And now I've been calling them 2x a day on when NVC is going to send to US Embassy in Manila. A nice girl whom I talked, just now told me that NVC got it two days ago. And most likely to be shipped within this week and she advised me to call this cooming Monday. But I will be calling them again 2x until they ship to Manila.

So keep on calling, you never know, NVC might have it... Good Luck!!
