I noticed that we started our k-1 process at the same time and I just got my NOA2. Congratulatioons eachother!Ale and I are really excited. Looks like CSC is processing petitions fast. I guess now we need to wait until our cases reach the US Embassies,correct?? I'm glad we can walk together troughtout this journey.

You can track it through the NVC, get your case number, to know when it leaves for your embassy.

Nope, no sponsor interview

The NOA2 is just a notification that the petition filed has been approved. The hard work starts after that with the visa application through the embassy!

If you think about it, the sponsor is already a citizen. Doesn't much matter what they may or may not have done, unless it's a sexual offense or a crime against children, what matters is who they want to bring to the US. And that the sponsor can financially support them.

This is getting ridiculous.

I called NVC today to find out if our I-129F was sent off. I was told it was sent on March 16, the day before they sent me a letter telling me it would be forwarded to London "within a week". I'm aghast at the efficiency a government beaurocracy is showing!

Just got a text 10 minutes ago from my fiancee. She just got "packet 3" from the embassy! So feel free to add that to the tracking post. Packet 3 has been received!

I'm still shaking my head. I'd better get going on getting my tax transcripts, letter from employer, etc. At this rate, she'll have her interview in April!

I have not been checking the board. I was in Thailand for a few weeks visiting my fiancee. It is good to see some CSC approvals coming through.

I was not happy with the Customs inspection yesterday when I got back. All people that visit Thailand three times in 13 months must be drug runners.

Just logged in to www.uscis.gov like I do two times every weekday (and sometimes on the weekend). I got touched. My file was last updated 03/26/2010. That is today!!! WooHoo (sp???) I am afraid by posting this I will jinx my petition application but I am trying to give others hope.

Now the question is, will I sail through and be approved next week or there will be issues with my filing and not have this immediately approved.

However for the rest of you February filers like SunDrop, They are currently working on Feb 8 NOA1 files. Good luck to all.

Argh!! I have missed so much on this thread because for some reason visajourney is not working on my mobile phone anymore. I am not sure why. It happened after I went to Bozeman, Montana >_>. Sucks, lol. Anywho, a huge CONGRATULATIONS to all of you who have received your NOA2s soooooo quickly. Its a rare miracle! I am wondering if the particular countries involved have anything to do with that. Do they? Or is it that those cases are with the CSC? My fiance is from the Dominican Republic and well, I have already mentally prepared myself to way a few months before I hear anything. From what I have seen with cases for that country, things take a while =(. Best of luck to all of us waiting on our NOA2!!! All of this good news if very hopeful!
