Wow, was just reading the Jan Filers thread and of the 52 petitions listed on VJ timelines, 23 have been approved! I'm getting a real kick out of seeing my estimated NOA2 date drop from May 19th to April 15th in the 24 days since our NOA1 and now finding it reallllly hard to not get excited about the prospect of NOA2 arriving sometime in March instead of May, which I'd mentally (and emotionally!) reconciled myself to.

Even with London averaging 100 something days from NVC to interview, if we work on a 6 week NOA2, we're looking at having visas in hand by the end of June instead of mid August :o

Must stay calm... must stay calm.... lol

Edit - forgot to put the 6 week NOA2 in, too busy counting days :D

It's so weird. My daughter's theatre school asked me today if she was going to be here next term. And I had to say, yes but not in the Autumn. It was just so bizarre giving notice for something that's been such a constant, fun part of our lives for more than 3 years. I have to remember to give notice next term for her guitar lessons too.

But I am getting a real kick out of telling the dozens of telesales calls that I get that there's no point trying to sell to me because I won't fulfill their minimum contract requirements. Had one the other day say "well, when will you be back? I'll call you then..." LOL

Hi Sundrop. I haven't seen you post for a week or so. You know there are already CSC K-1 two petitions from February filers that have been approved.

You and your daughter will be here sooner than you think. 100 days at London. Wow, that is another long wait. I think Bangkok is about the same. I am not sure yet. Audy wants to wait until late October or November to come here so she can take care of some issues at work. So in that sense, we are not really in a big rush. She is not, but I am. I am leaving this week to visit her. It should help pass two weeks without me checking USCIS web site everyday and sitting on VJ.

Hiya :) Yeah, started playing City of Heroes with the fella, to help pass the time and feed our co-op gaming obsession. Means we get to spend time together doing something we both enjoy and wile away the wait. It also means that my housework isn't getting done! lol...

It's already going fast. I never thought I'd say this, but I'm almost not thinking about it being approved any earlier than we were hoping if only because it'll mean I have to get sooo much done in a shorter amount of time. The biggest benefit to it being quicker would be being reunited faster. My daughter wants to finish out the school year, which I can understand but what she doesn't appreciate is that it would leave her with about 3 weeks of summer vacation before embarking on the more intense timetabling of school in AZ. She really needs that mental break and with all the distraction and excitement of moving, I figured it would be more fun for her to get to hang out with some kids her age in Tucson while they're on break. I figure I can entice her with reminding her that we are planning on getting a puppy once we're there, so she'll have that happen faster :)

I'm going to post an update post in this thread that I saw on the Oct-09 CSC filers thread, put together by K and L (great idea!) so we can keep track here on what's happening with our peeps :)

Just crashing the Feb. K-1 thread to say GOOD LUCK!!! Hubby and I were K-1 Feb. CSC filers last year - we hope February continues to be lucky for us.

Hey Sundrop, hope everything's going well, sweetie! *hugs* from Cam

Pleasure, next update I'll edit it so the titles are bold and the descriptions Italic, just to make it more legible. I will also purge any members who don't have profiles eventually, but thought it important to consider everyone initially :)
