@ sundrop.. you're right.. i've figured that as well. i'm just getting too impatient because i feel that our case is too straight forward (both single, no previous marriages, had been back and forth to Phil 4x/yr, tons of multiple phone calls daily, no RFEs, etc) I can't think of any reason why its taking them longer to do our application. lol. and i'm getting so excited whenever I see approvals with NOA1 dates that are close to mine.. and then i'd start wondering why it skipped mine. haha. But then again, like what I've read earlier in this thread, maybe our application was assigned to somebody who takes a lot of breaks, goes to the BR often, etc.

Man, I'm so glad for you. Got approval in 50 days, huh. Knowing someone here approved make me excited, can't wait till my turn. Hope I can have some good news in two more weeks.

Please could you complete your timeline, so we can keep the figures up to date? If you click on 'immigration timelines' at the top menu, you'll get through to a page that has your add/edit timeline option in the left column. The list that we use for tracking what's happening with everyone (when they don't post! lol) is the one in the middle column in bold, subtitled 'Igor's List'.

Thanks for showing me how to create a timeline. I am very new to the site. I've already completed my timeline, for some reason it won't let me view on Igor's list, I see mine is in the list though. I wonder how long it takes to be able to get it active or you must post a certain entry every day to show that your account is active

Well...woke up to a very nice text message " Your case WAC XXXXXXXXXX is now updated. Check "My Case Status" at www.uscis.gov". So initially I was kind scared uh oh an RFE?? As it seems others have gotten a text saying "Your case has been approved". So went to USCIS website and my little circle is at Post-Decision activity and Case HAS BEEN APPROVED!!! :dance: :dance: :dance:

WOOHOO!! :thumbs: Now I just gotta wait on the consulate in Montreal which is usually quite slow!

And Sundrop the text message says it was sent at 11:01 PM PST. Guess it can be anytime of day...

But means I was approved in 48 days!!!

@CQ & CS : I have looked at your timeline, got NOA1 same day as Wishing. Hope you have good news soon

@SunDrop : looks like uscis is working on cases that got NOA1 between 8 and 12 from UK and Canada now. You should hear something soon. Good luck.

LOL, this is craziness!!! I did not think sooo many people would be approved so quickly. I am very happy for all of you. I and many others are "patiently" waiting to get ours some day, some how, some way, lol. Congratulations to everyone!! Hang in there to everyone else. Faith is the substance of things hoped for the and evidence of things not seen. Just a little faith in process with get all of us through!

I am visiting my fiance now in the Dominican Republic. Yesterday was my birthday and so he had some plans for me. We went to this very swanky bar and an exquisite restaurant! It was soooo romantic. Oh, and I got a ring!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! OMG, totally cried because I wasn't expecting a ring until the summer. Best birthday present ever!!! So, now I feel much more engaged, lol. Ehehe, thanks! That's a picture of me All the guys at work decided at the time to grow mustaches all of a sudden, so I made mustache-sticks for myself and a female coworker.
