Will it cause a problem if I had the wrong conulate on my I129F. We thought it would be Toronto, but after we mailed the form, we found out my Ashley's consulate was actually Montreal. The folks in Canada told her it wasn't a problem but will can it mess up/delay things?

In Brazil, only one consulate handles immigration visas (K1 is not, but is handled as if). Even if I put on the form that I want the petition to go to São Paulo, where I live, they'll send it to Rio. So I guess there's no problem.

I only offer advice - not even legal. Just the plain and simple kind.

It's not a problem, it happens quite frequently.

2005

Sept 10 I-129F sent to TSC

2006

Interview - February 13th APPROVED! day 152

April 6 - wedding date day 204

Aug 22 - AOS interview date day 101-total days 342

Sept 29 - green card arrives, done until June 2008 day 140-total days 381

2008

June 30 - I-751 mailed total days 1025

2009

March 9 - Removal of Conditions approved! total days 1277
