Hopefully nothing like Canadian BACON...

"Boy, MrsCat, that's sure a tasty tattoo you've got there. Can I...um...lick it?" :P

Its situated just above my a$$, if people want to lick there, I guess that's their taste-buds.

LoL, i've noticed that most canadian patriotic tatoos that i've seen pix of and seen in person are usually quite small, and discreet. As opposed to most american patriotic tatoos i've seen are quite ostentatious. I think that speaks volumes about each nation. I would never get a patriotic tatoo. Do you really need to get a tatoo to remind you of where you are from, or are you just advertising that you're 'not american'? Just my opinion.

LoL @ MrsCat

First, I thought you said Canadian Bacon, and then after I did a doubletake, I had to google 'Canadian Beacon', and then had another doubletake. ####### a lighthouse tatoo?

I think Americans show their patriotism more then Canadians. NOT THAT CANADIANS AREN'T AS PATRIOTIC. I just think Americans show it more.

Look at how many residences have Old Glory waving on their property. The only Canadian flags I see in Canada are mainly in front of businesses.

I have a theory as to why Americans are more overt and gaudy about their patriotism than Canadians, but thats skewing off topic here. I don't think i've ever seen a full back patriotic Canadian tatoo. I can't count how many american ones i've seen  I would make fun of them, but they are usually much bigger than me and would pound me

I have a tattoo of a Haida salmon on the back of my neck. I'm not aboriginal or even from the west coast (guess I'm kinda a poser ) but I've always loved Haida and thought it would be a good way to express my patriotism and respect for Canadian aboriginals. I found the image off Google but I can't seem to find it right now!

I'm from Ontario, but I've lived here for a few years. We only met in December so there hasn't been too much travelling yet. :)

I do have a photo of my tattoo but it's on Facebook which I can't access right now (at work). But perhaps I will post it later today when I'm home!

If anyone's in the Portland, OR area, you can get your bacon on a maple-glazed doughnut. Yum.

Voodoo Donuts. Check it. ;)
