I-765 & new married name

When filing I-765 employment authorization, with the AOS packet, do i need to attach an additional copy of my marriage certificate, specifically for this form? I ask because I want this to be under my new married last name, and not under my maiden name which is on my passport and K1 visa page...

Thanks! Jo

Here's a thread with the whole doc list: http://www.visajourney.com/forums/index.php?showtopic=235331

You'll see i mention that it's not NEEDED but I personally will be including an extra copy (photocopy, not certified) so that they have proof of the name change. It's not needed because it's part of the AOS packet, but apparently the packets (AOS, EAD & AP) are separated when they get there and are processed separately and I don't want to risk it being slowed down by an RFE when it's a pretty simple thing to include.

Also, on the form you are able to type "former name", and this is filed under AOS so they know they're linked.. it's just easier to include it :P

For our packet, we only sent one of every evidence asked for.. and only 2 photos for the whole packet. So far, that seems to be all they need. :)

Our EAD and AP have been approved... Just waiting on the AOS itself.

Wow. I'd be interested to see whether you get an RFE soon (or if they make you bring them to an interview) because the FORM instructions CLEARLY state that each required 2 photos. You certainly took a risk...
