This can't be true!! it say's my petition could be approved as EARLY as October 26th!! no way! that's 3 more months, I don't beleive it!! is there something a little off with the data? Look at my VJ timeline, anyone feel it's a little off?

Don't trust too much on the timeline info at this point. You know how things have been since IMBRA... Looking at timelines, charts of the sort and comparing your timelines to others with similar ones and different results will only make you stress out.

Well you did just file at the beginning of the month. For CSC, 3-4 months would be typical (well before IMBRA anyway).

You filed at Vermont, so I seriously doubt it will take that long.

If it makes you feel any better, they've been taking 15 days approximately to process RFEs at Vermont. Not bad.

You filed three months after me..and I am still waiting my NOA2. That would be October. Noone knows but it is entirely possible it will take Oct or Nov for you to get an NOA2. The process is unpredictable. Vermont was moving along, but has been quiet...of course CSC is quiet again. Good luck

I understand you filed in a different service center, but in knowing that, I don't compare my petition to yours. I don't think people from other service centers should compare to VSC because there not being fair to themselves. Vermont does move faster and I would find it to be a great shock if my petition took until October to be approved, even if it is possible to get stuck. I wish we could all be processed fast, and I do think it's unfair that service centers process at different speeds. I'm sorry that you got the wrong end of the straw, but it is what it is, where it is, if that makes sense. I hope your petition will come to a speedy approval soon.

And let it be known that I'm not complaning about the processing speed currently, everything is cool, no worries!! I was just thrown off by the timeline approval date. But you can bet if it takes until October 26, all hell is breaking lose!!!

Does appear there was one approval today, NOA1 in April. So, VSC is not at a complete halt

Just another stick in the fire...before IMBRA ever came about, my cousin's then fiance sent their I-129F in January to CSC. One month later, they were approved! YES! It was CSC they filed at. Four to five months later, my cousin arrived at LAX. It took her 6 months from filing the petition to stepping foot on US soil. I was nearly brought to my knees when she told me that. As you can see, according to my timeline, I filed in March and still waiting for NOA2 even though my timeline data was showing Jul 26 which was two days ago! I dont' totally rely on it but it gives me some sort of hope and ease of mind knowing I have some kind of goal to look forward to. I hope most people will feel the same. My fiancee always stresses to me to just relax and wait patiently and things will come when they are due. No doubt she is very excited about coming here and being with me but she reminds me everyday to remain strong and to not stress out over things not in our control. CSC received my IMBRA RFE on Jul 18 and touched on the 19th but nothing heard since then. So hang in there! We all want to be with our fiance(e)s yesterday. In the meantime, you'll find a lot of the things we want to do with our significant others you can also you online. Give it a try. Some thigns my fiancee and I have done online:

~played and online game

~went online shopping

~met my family through webcams and YM

~serenaded with headsets

~TALKED online

These are but a few things we've done to pass the frustrating time. It may be but a short time that you see each other but the very fact that you did is worth more than you would think. Good luck to everyone and may we see NOA2s like angels in heaven!

Thank you so much for the words of encouragement, definitely taking it all in. I think I was a little misunderstood. I'm of course missing my fiancee, no doubt. The issue is more in line with what's correct data. I think the timeline is a little off, that's all. If anything it should say as late as October 26th

The estimations can change rapidly as data changes. My estimation changed from Sept 29 to August 20 in about a week.

Just to make you feel a little better....when I was waiting for my NOA2 we filed in the beginning of January and it kept saying that it wouldn't be approved until like May22nd or something! We got approved March 16th!!! I wouldn't go too much by that. Not enough people fill out their timelines so its gonna be a little off. Just try your best to be patient and it will come!!

well, mine said as early as NOVEMBER 16, 2006 (and I did freak out then) but, look hey.... ITS APPROVED !!!!! just waitin for them to transfer mah freaking file to NVC ... hope they do it SOON !!! fingers crossed.
