Hello VJ Family

Sorry to be a bother, but I was wondering if there any successful stories for anyone here that has been issued a 221g for additonal documents, went for the appointment to present the documents and got the visa? All suggestions will greatly be appreciated

Hi Nwanyioma,

A friend of mine was in a similar situation. She was issued a 221g and asked to bring phone records and additional evidence of communication. Her initial inetrview was Dec 18 and her second interview was Jan 7 and she got her visa approved on presentation of the required documents. So just keep praying, I believe everything will be fine as long as that is all they are requesting for.

All the best!

Not a bother friend, this is the place to ask questions! It would be very helpful if you could provide more info such as exactly what additional documents were asked to be provided and exactly how it is worded on the 221g.

It is actually a very common occurance. Sometimes something is missing, sometimes a document provided is inadequate, sometimes they just want something more. So many scenarios! We received a 221g but not for aditional documents, just to resubmit fingerprints. After they were submitted everything was ok. It is really key to know what more they are requesting to have an idea where they are going with it.

Many cases of the results going both ways.

As metnioned in another post - one of our "brothers" Scott is also undergoing this right now in Vietnam. We are all here to support each other as best we can in these difficult times.

We all know how stressful it is but try to relax, gather what they request and submit it.

Good Luck and Best Wishes
