So I just got the envelope from my civil surgen back today and the evelope is kinda thin, I dont think all those sheets from the I-693 could fit in that small envelope. Is it possible that maybe because I wasnt required to do all those things because of my age etc that he just sent the revelant documents?

Also I ask the lady to see what in the envelope and she showed my a copy of the I-693 and said everything came back neg but the HIV/AIDS part was still blank. She said that I didnt need that and the blood work was just for the syphilis test. Anyone familiar with that?

You haven't yet filled out your timeline so we can't tell whether you're adjusting status from a K1 or a K3 or a work or tourist visa (which makes a difference), but if you're coming from a K visa you had a medical within the last year outside the US, and your I-693 only has to be 3 pages long. I infer from the fact that your nurse was discussing test results that you had the full examination with this CS, and are therefore adjusting from a work or tourist visa. In that case, the I-693 would be the full 6 pages long. If everything turned out normal there would be no need for them to include any other documentation in the envelop. Did the envelope seem like it could be holding 6 pages? They won't have included all of the instructions for the I-693, which are now in a separate file, only the 6 pages of the actual form.

As for the HIV test, the regulatory requirement for immigrants to have an HIV test was lifted by USCIS late last year at the behest of the White House. (Not gonna say whether I think that was a good idea or not.) The form simply hasn't been updated yet. I'm somewhat pleasantly surprised that your CS is up on the current regulations. Many don't bother to keep up, and pretty much make up their own rules.

Oh wow, thank you so much for the update. I am here on a student visa. I am to kinda shocked that HIV test isnt required anymore, dont kno how much of a good decision that was. But the CS I went to recieve much of his income from immigration medicals so that is probably why he was up to date.
