Sex education is necessary but I am more interested to know what is being taught. I don't want kids, as they are kids, to be taught how to give the ideal BJ..

I had to laugh when I read about a growing trend of parents giving their teens ####### jobs for their b'days. How more moronic can people be?

I heard or read that somewhere too quite recently. That's really something. I could understand if it was to correct a medical condition or something of the sort, but to pay for a 16 year to have implants so she has a bigger rack, no way.

I'm not against sex education in schools, but I still believe that all of this should start at home. Parents need to be parents again. Kids should be learning their morals and values at home first so that when they are exposed to the real world they will be better equipped to make good choices.

Even in the 50s, teens were having sex without sex education.

Their minds like to explore the adult mind, and experiment their independence. What's stopping them?

Back in the 40s though, all they did was hang out at the malt shop and dance the jitterbug. Sigh. The good old days.

Tell me about it. Who the heck in their right mind would get their 16 year old a bigger rack? That's just like painting a bulleyes for teenage guys.

Worse off, what are they teaching their daughter? That her worth is measured by her ####### size.

In some households they do. In many others, they don't. Why are there so many teen pregnancies even though birth control is readily available? Forget the teens, why are there so many abortions and single mothers over 20? Again, cheap, easy birth control is out there. Are you saying that nothing has changed?

I'm not going to play this perception game.

When all you do is project your own preconceptions onto the subject matter, I'm going to question it.

It's called empirical observations. It doesn't take a genius to realize the difference in something as simple as empathy for others from Gen X to Gen Y.

Just read an article out of Melbourne today, talking about the change in the type of violence amongst the youth. That attacks are much more callous and violent than they were 10 years ago.

Anyways, I don't need one of many articles or studies to prove my point. I see it every day. You are not talking to some 80 year old here, who you can discredit. I'm in my 30's and have seen a massive shift in attitude from when I was a teen to that of teenagers now.

Edit: Even kids under 10 have some balls on them, as their parents have taught them they are the sh-t. It's why as an adult, I have to wait in line for another 5 minutes in line, so a 6 year old can order their meal. Whereas, my folks did the talking at my age.

Nah. I think the 60s, 70s, 80s were violent. Too much racism in the suburbs. Gangster rap, etc...

Those times I think were more violent. Don't forget the violence because of the Vietnam war. The massive rebels on the streets.

No - its your opinion. It has nothing whatsoever to do with empiricism.
