After biometrics?

What happens after you get biometrics done? Is there anyway to know whether it was already applied? Is there going to be an update in my online portfolio? Also does doing ti earlier than the assigned date speed up things? Mine was scheduled for 23rd and I did it today (2nd). It was very fast and the person who checked me in filled out everything instead of asking me to do it, and the one who took the fingerprints was very nice My hands were sweaty and he had to wipe my fingers off all the time.

You wait (of course) - next will likely be the EAD coming in the mail (if applicable).

You should see a 'touch' (last-updated date change) - usualy anyway but the system isn't always reliable.

If the system works like it is (probably) supposed to - your biometrics appointment should trigger a 'touch' (as you probably know, you would see this when the 'last updated' date changes) and it should occur on/near the day you went. That doesn't always happen though (for whatever reason, I don't know).

If you don't get a 'touch,' don't worry - it doesn't really seem to matter. (I know folks who never saw a touch the entire AOS/EAD/AP process yet got approved for all three in the typical time-frame.)

Got the "touches"! Waiting for interview appointment and EAD now.
