Hyphenated name

Hello everyone,

I got our NOA for AOS and EAD. I noticed that they didn't put hyphen in my last name as what we had put in the forms and marriage certificate (maiden name-hubby's last name). Do we have to call the USCIS that it should be hyphenated? I'm just worried 'coz it won't be consistent with our marriage certificate.

I suggest that you give them a ring. The NOAs state that if any entry on their notice is erroneous then you'd have to contact them.

Thanks!!! Hope we won't be having trouble calling them. I remember my hubby had problems calling USCIS before. Anyway, thanks again!!!

My husband has a hyphenated last name, and it wasn't placed on his NOAs.. but on all other documents, his name showed up correctly. Like when it says his name as to who it is addressed to, it's hyphenated, but in the boxes at the top of NOAs.. it's not.

Just to let you know, I got through to USCIS and they put in a request to correct the error. I'll receive the notice within 45 days that they've corrected the error. I was planning to write a letter, but calling was faster.
