To all... it has been a long time since I have posted anything here. Somehow after arriving back to the US my husband and I got swept away with work and business and I seldom get free time to come back here. I was just looking today for some Thai media... books, magazines, movies as my husband has finished all we have and mostly a few times through. Wondering if anyone around here had some used items that they would want to part with for a reasonable price or if people have good places (online) to order that sort of stuff. Thanks for the suggestions ahead of time.

Did you ever check this out? Kat and I looked into it a while back, and she even talked with someone about it by calling their hotline, but we got sidetracked and never followed through. It sounded pretty interesting though...

AOS: 08/08/2009 (mailed I-485, I-765, & I-131) - 10/29/2009 (received GC)

I think you can do something similar just through internet subscription at www.thaitv.tv

The box looks interesting. There's no way I want thai soaps on all the time though, the lifetime movie network is bad enough.....

We subscribe to thaitv. Pay about $10/mo (pay for a year or two at a time for cheaper rates). Watch on the computer. The box does look interesting (but, yeah, don't want Thai soap operas on the TV 24/7, so maybe the box idea will not be mentioned... )

my husband finds all of his favorite shows on youtube so we don't subscribe to thai.tv. and fortunately we live in an area with a fair amount of thais locally so he has a network of friends to trade/borrow books from. maybe your husband could go to the local wat (if there is one and do the same?) good luck!
