So, I have very little hope from VSC this week too.But since I need something to keep me engaged,I have decided to fill out some forms for step 2 and ask some of my doubts.

1) I am supposed to fill out DS-156,DS-156K, DS-230 and of these only DS-156 needs to be filled out online right?

I saw that there is a barcode generated for the DS-156 right?So is there a site where I can find that form which will generate a barcode for each one of us?

Also, have heard that the we do not need to sign certain forms,what are those?

2) Can we send all the packet 3 forms filled out to our consulate once our case reaches there from the NVC,or do we have to specifically wait on our consulate to send us packet 3?I will also ask this in my consulate forum to double check though.

Is there anything else I am missing?

10/13/2010:GC card production ordered

From what I have read, I believe the consulates in India sends out a combined packet 3 and 4. Please check on that. The online form that generates barcode is in USCIS site as a link to some other gov site. Let me try to find it.

NOA1 : Dec 23, 2009

NOA2 : Mar 18, 2010

NVC In: Mar 24, 2010

NVC Out: Mar 30, 2010

Cons In: Apr 7, 2010

Packet 4: Apr 9, 2010

Interview: May 4 (Approved)

Visa in Hand: May 7

POE: May 27

SSN: June 17 applied

Wedding: June 27

AOS/EAD/AP sent: Aug 18

NOA1: Aug 28

Biometrics: Nov 18
