Question 11, I-134...HELP

In preparation for our interview, I'm completing the I-134 (Affidavit of Support) and am confused as to how to answer question 11: I "intend" or "do not intend" to make specific contributions to the support of the person(s) named in item 3. I reviewed the sample form, but I don't understand why it states I don't need to answer this for a K1. The I-134 filing instructions don't say anything about that question not being completed simply due to me filing a K1. Can anyone here opine? How did you fill yours out? I don't even know that I understand the meaning of either option. I would assume I "intend"...right?

Someone just asked this yesterday actually.

The example form states "N/A - k1 applicant" but PERSONALLY we ticked "intend" and wrote "i will be providing room and board for vanessa indefinitely and intend to marry within 90 days of her entry into the United States". We were approved with no RFE's.
