They got our application 9 dec (485, 765, 130 & 131).

Me F-1 student married to a us citizen.

Interview is 1 march..couple of months earlier than i thought it would be..wohoo...

anyway....

Its basically asking me to bring all the papers and stuff we sent in already!!

I-693 for example..well here it says 'bring it, UNLESS already submitted'

But, it doesnt say that with the others.

* Like my wife´s income tax return etc etc etc...

* Bith certificate (which they asked for the original AND translated) which i did give them

* support evidence of your relationship

* my wife´s birth certificate

etc etc etc etc

etc etc...

some things we have but...ah they REALLY want all of this..again...? seriously?

Question 2:

I have not been arrested or anything while bein in US, so it says I should get a letter from the court with jurisdiction indicating this.

Any idea how to do this the easiest fastest and cheapest way?

Thank you in advance !!!!!!!!!!!!!

yes, that is correct. if you already submitted it, you don't need to bring it.

But, it doesnt say that with the others.

Yes!Just follow the list.

If you have never been arrested you don;'t need to bring anything.

Thank you in advance !!!!!!!!!!!!!

Good luck!

1. So, u think I should bring eeeeeverything again?

2. How does the interview go? I mean do they put u in separate rooms and fry u? Is there any link here showing what things they might ask?

3. Is there anything special thing or tips when going to interview?

Hi StarA,

It's best to bring everything again, even though you probably won't need it. We assembled a big package including copies of everything we submitted and more. Didn't need it, but I was glad we were prepared.

You can read up on peoples interview experiences in the subforum: Adjustment of Status Case Filing and Progress Reports

The November AOS filers group (thread) is just having starting their interview now and they are posting their experiences. I was in the October AOS filers group and most of our group have completed their interviews and posted their experiences. It's uncommon to be interviewed in separate rooms. Usually interviewed together and asked pretty simple questions. Ours lasted about 15 minutes. The questions started with verification questions like: name, address, birth date, etc. Then there were some relationship question like: how did you meet, when did you decide to marry, which family members have you met, what are some qualities you like about your spouse, what do you enjoy doing together, etc.

It's not that all interviews are the same, but many do follow a similar format. Just be well prepared and honest and you'll do fine. Do read up in the forums and see how others have prepared.

Greg

Hi Greg!

Thank you for your response..

Well it WOuld be a peace of cake....problem is my ADHD (Attention-deficit hyperactivity disorder)

My memory...its hopeless. for example, we live together..i can describe pretty much everything in the house. But some things...like what we ate the day before, or the colors of the wall....or what year car she has....SOME things i just have really hard time remembering.

Couldnt even remember my wife´s mothers middle name.

I do have 1 paper from TWO different college´s stating that I Have ADHD. what should I do? should I bring it? Won't it be like a red flag? or should i show it after cause im sure there´s gonna be a lot of "ehm...hmm...umm..lets see.....nope, i do NOT remember."

http://www.visajourney.com/forums/index.ph...ge=exampleq#aos Sample interview questions here on Visa Journey!

I would try to relax. If you start to have trouble relaying the answers to your interview, then sure, bring it up maybe and show them the proof of your condition, but otherwise, like any test or exam you would have had at school, just try your best on the day. Try not to think of it as a test, more a conversation where you are telling the officer about your marriage.
