I can't find the DOS number right now- I am sure someone will post it.

How have you tried to contact the embassy? Phone? Email? I usually get a response within a few days if I email.

Good luck to you.

My parents went to the Embassy on their Infodesk, surprisingly 4 days upon submission of additional documents, they actually sent us a copy which my parents did not received at all. Good thing they went to the embassy and as of yesterday, they provided the other doc needed. they mentioned that they continue reviewing it and make decisions by next week. so currently we're on our 2wks of AP and hoping for a good news this coming week..

You could be in mandatory name check in DC or you could be in internal AP at the embassy level. Call the DOS and ask them for the status of your case. When they tell you that you ate under administrative processing, ask them if it is name checks or if it is at the embassy level.

The worst part of AP is there is no deadline and this makes it especially difficult and hard. Hopefully your AP will be over soon.

Waiting.....Waiting....waiting....waiting....and more waiting..........

Ok now I'm REALLY confused :( :( :(

I got the pink slip at the interview, no one said anything about AP...it was only because I called to see why my passport was delayed that I eventually got an email from the embassy saying mandatory AP...but the DOS says normal processing when I call....which one is right?
