Just posted this, but I logged in to my USCIS case portfolio and noticed that it got updated on Jan 27th 2010 ie a touch! 3 months exactly after the 130 and 129F were "married" on Oct 27th 2009. The initial NOA1 rec date for the I129f was 10-22-09 and for the I-130 was 10-13-09. This means they have finally gotten to take a look at our case and should receive an approval ASAP. I will be eagerly checking my email and text messages today. I just noticed the update date this AM. So as I mentioned in my other post, I'm wondering why it is taking them a week for approval. Does it mean that they finally got done with the FBI checks and all and will only update the case when they are ready to make a decision, OR if they update the website as they go along. Dont know, but will find out soon now for sure. Waiting with bated breath and praying to the Gods that it gets approval today!

It's approval on it's way. I can assure you. During the FBI investigation, who is being investigated? The petitioner or beneficiary?

I guess I can be a little more pessimistic, But, from what I have gathered is they can touch your case if they even just move you file from one cubicle to the next, touch it for a RFE, an approval etc..... there are always a reason they touch it and some ppl can have there petitions touched several times before an approval, I hope and pray that this is "IT" plz keep us posted

Me tooooo!!!!!! I'm also moving into my new apt today - so all kinds of activities taking place today. Hope to receive it today and will y'all know ASAP. Yes Melody, I think you're right - it can be touched for any of your above mentioned reasons.

Also, the petitioner is the one being investigated (according to the case status website). My guess is that they will also do a general check on the beneficiary as well, but probably not go into as much as detail as the petiotioner...

Well - congratulations!

They have yet to even touch our case.

I picture some overweight woman in polyester, discussing last nights episode of The Biggest Loser to her clone at the next cubicle, while stuffing a donut in her face...meanwhile, our file sits under an empty Diet Coke can and a half eaten bag of Doritos, with orange fingerprints on it here and there...

Alright CSC, prove me wrong -

125 days since Fed Ex absolutely, positively had the I-130 there overnight.

112 days since I-130 NOA1

105 days since I-129F NOA1

102 days since our last touch...

Perhaps our processor has slipped into a coma...and no one has noticed...??

Edited because frustration makes me bad at spelling...
