We got a touch today on 02/01/2010 . Our NOA 1 is oct 13th for our I 130. I hope they are working on our file and we get to see an NOA 2 soon. Got our fingers crossed. :P:yes:

I can assure you it's approval. We will hear the news soon.

Is this an initial touch ie, the kind when the put your I-130 and I-129F applications togther??? for example, I have the same I-130 date as yours and my I-129F date is 10-23-09. My application got "touched" on the October 27th ie that's when they put the 2 together; then of course, after that it has been a black hole since then.

Or is this an actual new touch/update??? Cuz if it is a new touch/update, then that means that they're actually looking at your case. This means that my case might also be getting looked at soon (although I just checked and have not seen any new updates to my cases).

Also, did you get any email or text alert saying that your case got updated? If not, so much for their f****n message alert signup service!

USCIS: 10-06-2009: I-130 rec'd by USCIS; 03-16-2010: I-130 APPROVAL (after 5+ friggin months of torture, agony and waiting!)
NVC:
04-29-2010: INTERVIEW ASSIGNED FOR JUNE 10TH IN CHENNAI CONSULATE, INDIA; 06-10-2010: INTERVIEW - VISA APPROVED!!!!!
06-18-2010: Entered US - NEW YORK CITY and 08-16-2010: GC received! (nearly 2 months after PoE) woo hoo!
AOS for permanent 10 yr green card:

04-02-2012: NOA of I-751 and 1 yr extension of temp green card

05-03-2012: Biometrics appointment

12-18-2012: 10 yr Green card approved; 12-22-2012: Green card rec'd

N-400 citizenship:

06-19-2013: N-400 mailed; 06-22-2013: N-400 rec'd at Dallas lockbox

10-3-2013: Interview date - APPROVED!

10-18-2013: NATURALIZED - We are done with USCIS!!!

This is the second touch, the first one , where they presumably married the 1 29f and i 13o was on 20th Oct and 22nd Oct. So I guess they are actually working on our case.

You don`t get email or text alerts for "touches". You only get it when a decision is made.

I will update as soon as I hear something. You should be hearing from them soon too.

You don`t get email or text alerts for "touches". You only get it when a decision is made.

I sincerely hope and pray so! but unlike yours, my case dates have not gotten updated. Do you remember when your 1st touch was (ie when they married the 2 cases together; mine was Oct 27th)? That'll help give me some timeframe...

Thanks bud, Yeah I did file an I 129f, strangely there is no change in status on that :unsure: We`ll see what we get in mail.

If you got the 130 approved first, i would seriously think about doing cr1 instead of k3!

i have question how u know they touched ur case i sent my i-130 on18/9 and get noa1 for it on the 1/10 and sent my i-129 on4/11and got noa1 on 16/11 and i check my statues every day and its the same thing so where u can see if ur case touched

I have the same question. Is a touch anytime the date changes? My 129F was received on 1/27 and has a last action date of 1/30...is that a touch?
