Help with Certification of good conduct.

Hi is there anyone here who experienced this? I did my biometrics 2x so now i have an RFE for my I-485 and it is the certification of good conduct. It says on the letter:

"The applicant's fingerprints have been rejected twice as illegible. Additional evidence is required in order to continue processing the adjustments of status application. Please provide a letter issued by the local law enforcement agency (County Sheriff's Office or Local Police Department) indicating the applicant has "no criminal record." The record search should include all the aliases (all other names), the applicant may have used in the past. A separate letter is required for each law enforcement district in which the applicant has resided during the previous five years."

My question is will this include the residence that i had outside US or I only need to do this with in my US residence. And do you have any idea is how much it is? Thanks.

Includes all places you have lived. Including addresses outside of the US. But do NOT leave the US, unless you have AP and even then I would not leave. Not sure of the cost.

The letter that I got clearly states "US only" so I only responded the RFE with my background check from the police department here. You may want to call to clarify that though I know it's almost impossible to talk to a live person.
