Isn't it?!! I had tumors removed, fortunately all benign after they were biopsied. I figure, AOS is a cakewalk in comparison. B-)

Yep...AOS is nothing after going through things like that! Glad they were all benign!!

For those who've gotten EAD's, interview letters, etc...congrats! I'd be grateful to get anything at this point so I think you are all lucky to have gotten something!

I have found out that once after I turned in my applications. That's why my EAD is delaying. :(

You mean that you have seen one person whose case is same as mine, got EAD ? :o

NO, what I am saying is that your EAD is not considered delayed yet. You are still within the quoted average/timeline. So I would not worry quite yet. One person from the FEB filers have gotten their EAD they had filed in the end of January... everyone else is still waiting to receives theirs as well.

I personally do not like Tim Horton's donuts :P

They're so fake tasting to me.

Love their sandwiches though.

Well, i am sorry to complain :( but i just want to have my EAD sooner so i can start freelancing online sooner. I need to buy something for my husband's bday which is on the 29th next month. A day after my interview. But i guess if i don't have the budget for a present, i will just have to be creative.:luv:

Argh. Wasn't you, sweetie.

I don't want to call anyone out on the forum, but let's just say they have a unique way of complaining every time they come here (), and I just can't take it anymore. It's disrespectful to people who are still waiting. Yes it sucks and my husband and I desperately need his "papers" too, but that's life. If we don't get his card before late May (the only time that I can have off this summer), I can't see my mother-in-law until Christmas. But again, that's life. It's much more fun to celebrate in everyone else's joy than it is to complain about my situation. Like I've said before, when someone here gets lucky, it's a win for the entire forum and I am very happy. I'm particularly happy when people just around the corner from me get lucky, but that's only because this person 1) went through hell when we filed together in Feb. '09, and 2) because this person is just super awesome in general. ;)

And btw, being hopeful about getting your EAD (even after you have an interview) isn't bad at all. That's not complaining. What I'm tired of is the "USCIS isn't doing their job," blah blah blah when they've CLEARLY done enough of a job to give you an interview date (meaning the general "you" - not you personally, pisces). Some cases in this forum have been moving very quickly for AOS, so when I see the whining about not getting this-or-that when the person's filed in FEBRUARY and are seeing an APRIL interview date, I get very irritated.

The only complaint I have is that John and I were treated like ####### at Biometrics. But that's it. I'm grateful to have my husband at home. We used to have only the phone and the computer. AOS is just one of those waiting games. It is what it is.

I should probably take a break from VJ for a bit before I bring the entire forum down.

Good luck everyone, *hugs*

Cam
