What kind of work do you do, if you don't mind me asking?

I'm an advertising copy editor. I love my job, but I miss my weekends, girl! At least I got to be at home with my honey while I worked, but I miss doing stuff!

Good news from CSC would be nice....take away a bit of stress about my daughter's procedure on Thursday.

Oh, Liz. I hope everything's okay! (F)

Thanks hun, she's got to have the scope down her throat to her tummy which is a pretty simple procedure but they will knock her out for it and with this being the first time she'll have ansthesia it's got me a tiny bit worried.

Oh my goodness! Interview! It will be on April 28 at 11AM.

This is unexpected because there's no status changed on the USCIS website. It still says Initial review and not even Email notification.

But anyway, this is still good news. I still don't have my EAD though.

Good news~ I'm happy for you :)

Same to me, there's no status update at all on USCIS site, and I haven't heard anything about my AP nor EAD...

Though I got a letter for an initial interview.

Awww, she's just a little thing, isn't she? I'll say a little prayer for you guys. I'm sure everything will work out great. I understand how daunting it can be, I had surgery last year and it was the first time I got knocked out. I was a bit nervous. I should've asked for a lolly when it was done!

Oh. I think I misunderstood you. But anyway, now that I saw the form again, I am not sure now if I put C 9 in the category. Geez. Let me check the form I filled out.

I have found out that once after I turned in my applications. That's why my EAD is delaying. :(

Since you were filing the EAD based on your marriage and adjustment of status, the category should have been c (9). But I doubt there is a delay because you used the wrong code. IMO, it could be issued as it is. As I can recall only one person who filed in February received there authorization. Maybe this will be the week! Fingers crossed :D

You mean that you have seen one person whose case is same as mine, got EAD ? :o

Posted

I think they changed the time we get mail.

It's been this way for a week now. It's 2:30pm and no mail, normally we would have gotten it about 45 minutes ago.

How annoying.

I have found out that once after I turned in my applications. That's why my EAD is delaying. :(

It might be my case too. As I mentioned I may not have filled that question, and yeah I didn't after checking the form on my computer. It's too late for me now to worry about it. My interview is coming up but still hoping to get EAD before that. I am getting bored here!

I think they changed the time we get mail.

It's been this way for a week now. It's 2:30pm and no mail, normally we would have gotten it about 45 minutes ago.

How annoying.

I feel you. Ours is every 10 AM. When I got there 10:15 and no mail I was really disappointed, but then my brother in law came in later that day bring all the mail. They were just late. Close enough to how you feel :)

piscesforever!

Congrats for your interview date. One day after me.

thanks :)

Nothing in my mail today. EAD come on! No update changes online.

Yeah come on! Now I am impatient. Where did my patience go?
