Supposedly at the very minimum 1 week after NOA1 + mailing time. So maybe you'll have your appointment letter by the end of this week. There are also cases where it took 3-4 weeks though from what I read here. You go to the appointment alone.

i'm gonna go nuts if i have to wait 4 weeks, i swear all this stuff is giving meanxiety attacks, hehehe :wacko: I was just jocking with my hubby that he needs to go with me so they can tell me if he is a secret felon and i don't know anything about it :devil: I didn't send i-131 but now thinking maybe i should've... I just heard bad stories about peolpe not being able to come back to the country after they leave with that paper... Not to freak anybody out or anything :innocent:

02/03/2010--------sent out AOS package to Chicago (day 1)

02/04/2010--------confirmation of delivery (day 2)

02/11/2010--------checks cashed yay!! (day 9)

02/12/2010--------NOA1 recieved for i-485/i-130 (day 10)

02/24/2010--------NOA1 for i-765 (day 22)

03/11/2010--------biometric appointment done!!!!!! yay!! (day 37)

03/12/2010--------touch on i-485 (that tickles) (day 38)

03/19/2010--------request to appear for initial interview on 04/28/2010 ( day 45)

03/31/2010--------biometric appointment for i-765 (sheesh, i hoped that wouldn't happen but oh, well)done in 2 minutes!!!!!(day 57)

04/01/2010--------touch on i-765 (oooh, all the touching makes me giggly) (day 58)

04/16/2010--------EAD production notice (day 74)

04/26/2010--------EAD recieved in the mail (day 84)

04/28/2010--------interview (day 86) approved

05/28/2010--------green card recieved!!! (day 116)

I have found out that once after I turned in my applications. That's why my EAD is delaying. You mean that you have seen one person whose case is same as mine, got EAD ?

I think they changed the time we get mail. It's been this way for a week now. It's 2:30pm and no mail, normally we would have gotten it about 45 minutes ago. How annoying.

The consensus is definitely that you should not leave the country without advance parole (I-131) as you're in the middle of status adjustment. I don't plan on leaving but you never know, and as it was free to file and pretty much just a checkbox and a signature I attached it to my petition. Better safe than sorry :)

true that, i didnt file so i wont be tempted to leave for a long overdue vacation to mexico (and to meet my father-in-law :blush: ) hehehe but on a more serious note a friend of a friend had to go thru hell to get his wife and 6 month old baby back home...plus my honey will starve to death without me :help: , seriously that man doesnt know how to boil water, bless his heart

Finally recieved NOA's and check was cashed all on 2/9/10. We are just anxiously awaiting biometrics letter. I wonder if NYC takes walk-ins.

2/1/2010- AOS , EAD. AP Mailed via USPS priority mail

2/3/2010- Received - via USPS delivery tracking

2/9/2010- Check Cashed

2/9/2010- NOA 1 Received for 131, 765, 485

2/17/2010- Received letter for biometrics

2/19/2010- Completed biometrics via early "walk in'

2/22/2010- Touched on I-765, 48

2/24/2010- Case transferred to CSC

4/2/2010 Card Production Ordered for I-765, AP touched (Yea!!)

4/8/10- Approval notice for I-765 sent via email/ AP touched

4/10/2010 Received AP.

4/12/10 Received EAD-

7/6/10 Contacted USCIS because now Outside normal processing time

7/23/10 Got RFE asking for proof of legitimate marriage- 1page and 1/4 of proofs

8/23/10 sent off RFE response via Expressmail

8/24/10 Received by CSC

9/2/10 Email from USCIS- Card Production Ordered

Oh okay, but don't worry yourself too much. You have your NOAs, so it may has something to do with the person handling your file, they may not put in updates until your status changes. That is what happened to us in the K1 process.

Wow, that's fast! My package arrived a day before yours but I received my NOA's 2 days later than you! What are your NOA notice dates (printed on them)?

Oh yeah it happened to me too, it didnt get put into the system till the day we got approved but still doesnt show up as approved :lol: I'm just hoping I don't have to go through that again cuz really, the not knowing anything is the worst.
