Just checking in. No touches on anything since 3/3. I hope we get approved for the EAD before the 1st week of April is done. I heard things move a little faster when you are transfered to CSC.

lol glad I'm not the only one. I check the website like 2-3 times a day and the mail every day, so far nothing at all. Does the website say they sent you anything or is it sill on initial review?

Yes. The website remains in initial review for EAD and acceptance in AOS. But my AP have been approved in 16 days.

You are so lucky! 16 days for AP approval! My AP hasn't been "touched" for a month now. I called the USCIS a few minutes ago to ask why some people get approved in less than a month while mine's taking so long, and the customer representative just told me it depends on the case. Sometimes it also depends on the officers handling/reviewing the case. Well, gee! Maybe the ones handling my case must be VERY LAZY!!! :angry:

Danu, please also update me in the spreadsheet. We submitted the RFE docs on 03/16/2010, and USCIS received it on 03/19/2010.

My AOS and EAD have never been touched after biometric and remain in original steps. No update doesn't mean no process. USCIS teach you how to be patient.

Hey everyone....sorry I've been MIA the last couple of days....next week will be worse...hehe! We had to take my daugther to a pediatric gastroenterologist yesterday and found out that she is going to need to have an endoscopy done next Thursday I know it's an easy procedure but the fact that she'll be completely knocked out scares me a bit. Anyway....

Not really...there have been a few in our January thread who either got their Green card approved without interview or had their interview before EAD/AP approval. The reason is that the EAD/AP and the Green card is processed at different offices. Hope this helps!

Thanks, seems weird some ppl would not have an interview? any reason for this? Does it depend if u came in on a F-1 vs. K-1?
