What I like about VJ is the camaraderie. I am genuinely happy for people here. And I try to offer my experience whenever I feel it will help someone else. Why can't we just keep it about that? Why include all the negative? I don't get it.

Not sure, we have people who come in to troll in the regional forums to and it irks me a bit. I don't understand why on a site thats built around diversity theres so much blatant racisism and bigotry that goes on and why people feel the need to irritate everyone else. I also don't understand the people who give out bad advice or sarcastic remarks to people who are genuinely looking for help. I don't see at all how they think that helps anyone.

And thank you hon I'm just having a bit of a bad day and lack of news from this whole thing hasnt made it any sunnier...but theres the whole week to go!

You are SO right about the racism. I'm glad that there are some Mods on here who won't put up with it, but this place and the fact that we have to deal with Santa Ana put me in a fowl mood. Grrr.

Oh yeah, that's another thing I hate, when newbies ask for advice, only to get made fun of. Someone actually had the NERVE to say (today) that without sh*t stirrers, this place would be boring. This was in response to my "status update" where I said I couldn't stand sh*t stirrers on VJ. MY comment came from a Mod creating a new post FILLED with anti-Obama jpgs.

That's not what this place is for. I respect varying socio-political points of view, but this is VISA JOURNEY. Posts like that only stir the pot. They serve no point whatsoever. Damn, it just miffs me.

Hello everyone,

I went to the mailbox today and check if i got a letter from USCIS and just want to tell you fellow vj members that i receieved my greencard today!yehey! :lol:omg!i'm so happy and my heart beat so fast..can't believed it!hehehe..so now my plan is to wake up my dearest husband..hehehe will see if he will be grumpy when i wake him up!hehehe

I was expecting my GC will arrived next week..hehee but i got it today!wooo

So anyways to all who haven't received there GC yet..just be more patient and it will be there!
