I see Camie went to biometrics and didnt get arrested....always a good thing

I am so freaking out over this quick interview. One month to gather 'proof' ....what kind of proof can we get with no SS number? Bank wont add him to my account, 401k same thing, no drivers license with address til SS number. grrrrrrrrrrrrrr

As for proof...how about pictures..wedding, holiday, outings you two have been on. And is he on any of your household bills like electric, cable/satellite, cell phones, etc...? Or can you add him to those things if he's not?

So my biometrics is on Wednesday! Woohoo...but my passport is due for renewal. I plan on keeping my passport till my biometrics appointment, but plan to send it off for a new one after that. Does anyone see a problem with sending it off while waiting for AOS? I figure I am not going to hear anything after biometrics for awhile, so it safe to send off the passport. Any thoughts? Figure a new passport should take anymore than 30 days for the whole process!

Not sure how your consulate/embassy works with processing/times.. but, my wife is in the process of changing her passport due to the new name.. Her process consist in issuing a new passport, but she will keep the old one.. her process takes only a week, two tops

I agree with ImWaiting....it'll depend a lot of the processing times of the office you're sending the renewal too. Where is it located?

Jackie, you lucky duck! Interview next month. Haha, yeah I was a good girl, but it was the same guy as the last time. Patrick. He was rude to everyone except Latinos, and being biracial, I didn't look Mexican enough to rate polite treatment. Que la chingada.

Liz, I think you're close to getting your gc, but that's just me.

Danu girl, Shanh . . . hoping the two of you see some action soon. Santa Ana sucks.

Hanging out with the "hubby" - seems to be an unpopular word on VJ as of late, so I plan to use the hell out of it all day. So yeah, a lie-in with John, up to Kaffa for our Saturday coffee, a call to my mother-in-law, cleaning out the TiVo, and I'm going to cook something instead of calling for pizza, just can't decide what.

NO bacon sarnies, that's for damn sure. I made those all day last Sunday, and my jeans have been hating me all week.

We are doing "spring" cleaning inside the house tomorrow.....and I use the " " because tomorrow is the one day in the last month that is going to be the least spring-like... Darn it if there isn't a cold front moving in tonight and it's only going to be like 45 tomorrow! Soooo, we'll stay inside and clean and then when it's back to the nice 70+ degrees on Sunday I think we'll take my daughter to the park!

I really should tidy up our place a bit. John usually has it looking great when I get home, but I've been wanting to steam our carpets. "Wanting to" and actually "doing it" are two different things. I'm just wiped out by the weekend.
