@ akochi well, I had to resubmit it cause it was on an outdated version apparently, but didn't think it will be a big deal, oh how i was wrong!!! Well, my mistake but i checked the other ones and actually i-485 had the same dates, so i guess the person who was prossesing i-765 was a bit "a*al" hence me showing my face (read fingers) at the the homeland secutiry office AGAIN :bonk:

I have found out that once after I turned in my applications. That's why my EAD is delaying. You mean that you have seen one person whose case is same as mine, got EAD ?

I think they changed the time we get mail. It's been this way for a week now. It's 2:30pm and no mail, normally we would have gotten it about 45 minutes ago. How annoying.

I may have asked this question before. But I was wondering if anyone know how long after the Biometrics will we receive EAD? i.e. when should we start applying for jobs?

Our group's a bit down today. Hope everyone is well, sorry you have to do another Bio, III!!! That sucks!!! I have nothing to complain about in comparison to some of you here. Our Bio's the day after tomorrow (FINAL-EEEE!!!), my mouth and I are staying in the car this time. No security will be harmed in the making of John's fingerprints. Btw, we didn't feel the quake. The news is all up in arms about it, but I'll tell you what, holla at me when it's like the one we had two months ago. I was at work, on the 6th floor . . . good times.

I didn't feel either of them, the one last night or the one a few months ago.

And Rhiann - I'm totally with you. I have no touches either and only sent in my medical sheet from Canada, so at least so far no RFE's :D

Had received RFE on 03/11, it was for a complete medical. We just decided to do a new medical for $145 in SAN JOSE, CA. we want to just get it over with.

Unfortunately i could not be there with my wife to finish all this formalities. I had to rush to india urgently, my father passed away on the 11th.

Life is never fair but we have to learn to live with it..

Hi everyone, I have a question about the medical exam requirement for filing for AOS. I entered as a K1 visa holder and had a full medical at home before I got my visa. I sent with my I485 the vaccination document that they gave me at the medical since I had submitted my full medical to the border. I just got an RFE in the mail saying that I need to submit a "properly completed and signed copy of the medical exam conducted overseas on form DS-2053, Medical Examination for Immigrant or Refugee Applicant".

On the instructions for the I485 it says since I entered as k1 fiance, I only need to submit a vaccination supplement not the entire medical report so I figured that the form I submitted would be good enough to show that.

Does the RFE mean that I have to go do another medical even though I already paid $350 for the first one? What did everyone else do in order to show they had the proper medical done already??

It seems that USCIS did not look for your medical in your POE packet. There is a couple of things that you can do to try and resolve this issue. The fastest and costliest is going to the civil surgeon and getting a full medical completed. This will likely get your case resumed fastest. IF you shop around you could possible find someone to do the medical for 125-200 USD.

Second, You can get in contact with a congressman or senator to inquiry on your behalf about your medical (because it is suppose to be at USCIS somewhere).

Or you could send USCIS a letter with your medical receipt explaining that you have had a medical and it should be at USCIS because it was turned in at the POE on such and such day in a seal envelope. Make as detailed as you can

I received this RFE about the needing the completed medical that was conducted overseas. To address my RFE, I did option 2 and 3....All cases are different but in my case it worked so far.... my case was transferred to CSC last week
