09/05/09: POE- New York City

10/23/09: Marriage

02/19/10: Mailed AOS,EAD and AP via FedEx to Chicago Lockbox

02/23/10: FedEx online tracking confirmed delivery of AOS,EAD and AP at Chicago Lockbox

03/02/10: Check cashed

03/05/10: Received NOA1 for I495, AP and EAD (says it was done 3/2/2010)

03/12/10: Received NOA2 Biometrics letter. Appointment date: 03/22/10 (letter notice date: 03/08/10)

03/17/10: Received email/text message stating that CASE SENT TO CSC ON 03/16/10

03/26/10: Received notice AP has been approved and a notification has been mailed to me.

03/31/10: Received notice for EAD production

04/02/10: Received AP

04/05/10: Received EAD card

I have found out that once after I turned in my applications. That's why my EAD is delaying. You mean that you have seen one person whose case is same as mine, got EAD ?

I think they changed the time we get mail. It's been this way for a week now. It's 2:30pm and no mail, normally we would have gotten it about 45 minutes ago. How annoying.

I just went though the spreadsheet and tried to update everyone. Theres a lot of people who havent made a timeline though and don't have it in their signatures either so theres a few people who I don't think are up to date, but I couldn't find your info. It would helpful to everyone if you guys could make a timeline as it helps make the predictions of when things will come through much more accurate.

I did a walk in attempt today on the 10555 NW Freeway here in Houston. It was a success! Original Bio app was Mar 23.

I have a suggestion for all of those attempting walk ins.. Try to go after 11am.. I went this morning at 8am and there were 175 people waiting to get their fingerprints taken and the picture. The lady on the front desk told me that they don't usually accept walk ins because they have a lot of people almost all the time... (I could sense they get annoyed when they have tons of people and they might as well reject walk ins) The lady told me that I could wait on my own risk, I could go back at a later time, or wait until my original app date. I waited to get it done today, and it was worth it!

Now I just have to wait for my EAD approval on themail, and I just hope they waive my interview and just send the green card approval as well ^_^

20 Feb 2010 - Package arrived in Chicago (confirmed through USPS)

03 Mar 2010 - NOA1 AOS/EAD (hard copies) - notice date: 26 Feb 2010

09 Mar 2010 - Biometrics Appointment letter on mail. Appointment date: Mar 23.

11 Mar 2010 - Biometrics taken. (Walk in)

12 Mar 2010 - Case transferred to California Service Center!

19 Apr 2010 - AOS approved and Green Card production ordered

30 Apr 2010 - EAD approved and card production ordered

Note: For some strange reason I don't know, my AOS process was approved before the EAD process. I can't complain though, But I believe once I have my green card, I will have to return the EAD.

Howdy all...didn't think I'd make it online today but just had to come share our news!

We attempted a walk-in here in San Antonio and it was successful!! So, biometrics is done 13 days early! :dance:

And if that wasn't enough good news....just got online and had an email from USCIS .... We got transferred to CSC yesterday!!!!!!!!!!!! YYEEEHHHAAWWW!!! :dance: Needless to say I screamed and scared not only my hubby and daughter but our cats too... :lol::blush:

Congrats to those who were also successful with their walk-ins! It's such a relief to have that done already!

Hi tacq. Thanks for sharing! I am in Houston area. Originally, my biometrics appointment was scheduled on March 18 in FL but the officer at the local office there said I can have it here in Texas since I did a change of address. Is that the local office on your appointment letter? Coz I tried to make an infopass and entered my zip code. But the office that was assigned to me is in 126 Northpoint Drive...
