I didn't use any hand lotion and they had to keep doing that too, I think its to make the prints as clear as possible. Not having oil though would probably help a lot.

I think for next week, I'll leave my can of Whoop-A$$ at home along with the cell phone.

I have found out that once after I turned in my applications. That's why my EAD is delaying. You mean that you have seen one person whose case is same as mine, got EAD ?

I think they changed the time we get mail. It's been this way for a week now. It's 2:30pm and no mail, normally we would have gotten it about 45 minutes ago. How annoying.

Wow you got your Biometrics letter fast. I applied on 2/19...and still no biometrics...

This is a stretch of a question....but I was wanting some feedback on relocating while AOS is in process. My wife and I were thinking of moving. I filed for AOS 2/19, still no biometrics. We were thinking possibly moving after bio and receiving EAD/AP. Or should we wait till I get the green card. We are moving cos any emergency, we have the option to wait. So I didn't know if anyone would suggest moving after Bio? or EAD/AP is recv'd? or Green-Card? or Never :(

You don't have to fret about not getting your biometrics letter yet. A lot of my fellow January filers had their biometrics later but their EAD and AP were approved faster. ;) There is really no guessing how the USCIS works.

You will get it, but probably not until end of this week or early next. I filed 2/13 and received my Biometrics letter just yesterday.

02/03/2010--------sent out AOS package to Chicago (day 1)

02/04/2010--------confirmation of delivery (day 2)

02/11/2010--------checks cashed yay!! (day 9)

02/12/2010--------NOA1 recieved for i-485/i-130 (day 10)

02/24/2010--------NOA1 for i-765 (day 22)

03/11/2010--------biometric appointment done!!!!!! yay!! (day 37)

03/12/2010--------touch on i-485 (that tickles) (day 38)

03/19/2010--------request to appear for initial interview on 04/28/2010 ( day 45)

03/31/2010--------biometric appointment for i-765 (sheesh, i hoped that wouldn't happen but oh, well)done in 2 minutes!!!!!(day 57)

I got my Biometrics App letter today!!!! App. date : 03/23/2010 :dancing:

AOS and EAD

18 Feb 2010 - Sent AOS package

20 Feb 2010 - Package arrived in Chicago (confirmed through USPS)

03 Mar 2010 - NOA1 AOS/EAD (hard copies) - notice date: 26 Feb 2010

09 Mar 2010 - Biometrics Appointment letter on mail. Appointment date: Mar 23.

11 Mar 2010 - Biometrics taken. (Walk in)

12 Mar 2010 - Case transferred to California Service Center!

19 Apr 2010 - AOS approved and Green Card production ordered

30 Apr 2010 - EAD approved and card production ordered

Note: For some strange reason I don't know, my AOS process was approved before the EAD process. I can't complain though, But I believe once I have my green card, I will have to return the EAD.

Completed walk in bio today, no issues at all the place was empty walked in at around 12.30 noon and we were out within 15 minutes. original appt date was 03/23

Also, i am confused that i received a msg yesterday for case update, and when i checked online it showed an RFE for my I485, for last 2 days i have been waiting to get the RFE letter, but yesterday received BIO letter so finished walk in today.

will wait for couple of days to check if RFE letter shows up

Still no news on EAD or AP here.... probably not going to happen before the interview.

If I ask for the I-551 stamp at the interview, I can start working immediately correct?

Yes :D I've heard conflicting reports on whether they still give them out, hopefully you can get one!

Thank you guys! and congrats to all the rest that have received their letters and appointments! I will attempt a walk in tomorrow, I hope everything works out well!

It's amazing how you feel attached to those who are going through the same thing as you..
